The organizing committee of the national automotive business experts' award TOP-5 AUTO announces the short-list in a special category "The best PR-department of a car manufacturer".
According to the Rules of the contest nominees in this category are chosen in two stages. The short-list may contain up to six PR-departments which is dependent on a specific procedure of their selection. In the first stage, the top 3 nominees are formed on the basis of media-monitoring which is made by the Mediascope research company. The other 3 finalists are chosen by voting of the TOP-5 AUTO jury. At the second stage, the winner is also chosen by the jury's final vote.
At the current, ninth, season of TOP-5 AUTO, we can witness quite a unique situation. There are only four companies which have been selected for the short-list. The reason for that is a coincidence of several companies in both top-3 lists. That is why the finalists of this season are: Hyundai Motor CIS, Nissan Manufacturing Rus, Renault Russia and Skoda Auto Russia.
During voting for the finalists in the category "The best PR-department of a car manufacturer" the jury estimates the quality of communication materials, product knowledge, press-park operations, quality of press tours organization and speed of reaction to Mass Media information requests by PR-departments of the car companies.
The winner in the category "The best PR-department of a car manufacturer" will be announced at the end of May at the TOP-5 AUTO Awarding Ceremony.
