Ivan graduated from the Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics. During his studies he was fond of motor sports. Ivan was a member of DOSAAF (Voluntary Association for Assistance to Army, Air Force and Navy). Ivan changed many occupations. He gained the first journalist experience at the television. For several years he worked as a copy editor at NTV, TV-6 and TVS channels. Afterwards he decided to venture in movie production. Ivan was an executive producer of a number of documentary – live-action TV-series. Being a part of production team of “Victory Trek” he was awarded with Nika TV-trophy (the Russian National TV-award equivalent to Emmy).
When it was the right timing for another change of direction Ivan recalled about his sporting roots and entered the Klaxon automotive newspaper to become a staff reviewer. Eventually he went further to become a deputy Editor-in-Chief. Then he moved to the similar position in AvtoMir magazine (Russian equivalent of AutoBild) of Hubert Burda Media publishing house where he worked for five years.
Currently Ivan is an Editor-in-Chief of Motorpage portal. He represents Russia in World Car Awards jury. He is fond of car and motorcycle trips, he writes, takes pictures and conducts a popular blog in Internet.
