Yuri came into journalism right after he finished studies at the university in 2006. Since he graduated with a degree in automotive manufacturing, this predetermined his further activity area.
For almost eight years Yuri worked in a Russian specialized newspaper Klaxon, where he went all the way from a reviewer to a deputy Editor-in-Chief. Moreover, during the practical training he actively communicated with a range of other print media, acted as a speaker on TV-channels and popular radio stations. Since 2014 Yuri holds a post of Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Auto.Mail.Ru.
During recent years Yuri was a member and subsequently a chairman of jury in “Golden Klaxon” automotive award. Besides that, Yuri represents Russia in a jury of the most important international contest World Car of the Year.
Technical education left a mark on a Yuri’s specialization. He feels confident in sneak previews, innovations, testing of new models. Yuri updates his driving skills by participating in automotive competitions on a regular basis, in which he was a multiple winner and runner-up. For example, in classic rally Cup-final of Russia in 2013 he came in third in Renault Logan Cup standing.
