Jury of the award

The subject of cars emerged in Pavel’s life after he had attended a special hobby group of junior driving school in the Dom Pionerov (House of Pioneers) at Vorobyevy Gori (Sparrow Hills). He still keeps proudly the junior deriving license of the second degree. A year of interesting studies and a demanding exam, after which the adult driving school seemed very easy to study at.

Nothing predicted that Pavel would pursue a career of automotive journalist, though in 2003 as a correspondent he was involved in a Russian qualification round of Landrover G4 Ghallenge. Cars and adventures! Two years after that Pavel was straining at the oars and spinning the pedals at the G4 qualification round at Crocus in 2006. Miraculously he got in the Russian team and went to England for an international qualification round.  The same year Pavel joined the new Auto Plus TV channel where he was taught to film the cars and was definitively “infected” with the subject of automotive adventures. During 9 years Pavel went all the way from the correspondent to the Editor-in-Chief. Currently he is a host of  “Vybor Est” (The Choice is Yours) and “Nashi Testi” (Our Tests) programs. Not a long ago Pavel has discovered the new “frequency” - FM! Ever since he is a host of “Gorodskaya Avtomobilnost” (Urban Auto Mobility) program at Moskva FM.
